This Antiqued Deer Bone Kōauau is fully engraved and was hand-carved by Yuri Terenyi.

Māori Kōauau players were renowned for the power it gave them over the affections of women. Kōauau were typically made from wood or bird bone; some were also made from human bone and were associated with chiefly status.
