Kawakawa Hei Manaia - Dark Maori Jade Spirit Guide Pendant



Manaia are the kaitiaki (guardian) of the earth, sky, and sea. Worn as a pendant they protect the wearer from harm and are a symbol of status, mana (prestige), and whairawa (wealth).

It is hung by an adjustable, hand platted cord. It has been carved and sanded from Kawakawa pounamu from the Arahura district, and inlaid with South Island paua shell.
