Kauri gum, sometimes referred to as New Zealand amber, is the fossilized resin of the kauri tree, a species that once dominated the indigenous forests of the upper North Island of New Zealand.
Each earring measures roughly 2 x 1 cm.
This taonga was hand-carved by Conrad Henderson.
