This beautiful and iridescent Whaea o te Peara Manawa - Mother of Pearl Heart Pendant was carved by Samuel Potter.
Mother of Pearl is a material produced by some molluscs as an inner layer; it is also the material of which pearls are composed. It is strong, resilient, and iridescent.
