August Ferdinand Möbius, a nineteenth century mathematician, invented the Mobius Strip, a two-dimensional surface with only one side.
This Pounamu Möbius represents unity and eternity. The two sides, which are referred to as inside and outside, are joined together and became one side. It can also be depicted with having only one side and a never-ending path along its surface, symbolising infinity and endlessness.
This piece measures 4.5 cm in diameter
