Pekapeka are ancient carved forms, and are the representation of the native bat of Aotearoa.
Worn on special occasions it is carved as a twin manaia.
This pounamu pekapeka has paua inlay eyes. It is hung on a black adjustable cord. It can be worn either side - with both sides showing different coloring's of the bone.
