Celtic knots are complete loops that have no start or finish. They are said to represent eternity, whether this means loyalty, faith, friendship or love.

Koru are the quintessential pattern of Māori design. Taken from the fern frond, are found throughout the forests of Aotearoa, Koru represents the growth, potential and peace found in the whenua (land). They are gifts of love and friendship.

This piece was made from cow bone with a stained interior. It is hung by an adjustable hand-platted cord. 

The size of this piece is 48 mm x 31 mm x 7 mm and carved by Kerry Thompson.
