Hei matau are fish hooks fashioned in the style of Māui. These are symbols of abundance, prosperity, and wealth. They are also considered to provide good luck and safety on water, and are therefore thoughtful gifts for travellers.

Flower Jade (Raukaraka) is named after the blossom of a Karaka tree.  It is found exclusively in the West Coast of the South Island, NZ.  Flower Jade is usually deep green with beautiful inclusions of yellow and orange.

This piece was hand carved by  Yuki Tanaka and is hung by a black adjustable hand platted cord.

This piece measures: 77 x 46 x 8mm
