Kawakawa pounamu koruru engraved with unaunahi, and inlayed with a sold gold eye, and set in a solid 9ct gold setting.
The koruru is seen as a kaitiaki or guardian, it the carved representation of a ruru-native owl who protects and watched in the night.
This taonga is suspended by a gold plated sterling silver chain.
