This Tangiwai Toki Poutangata Adze features chatoyant shades of green. It is bound and lashed with a muka (tan-coloured) and a tassel showcased on a brass and native timber frame.
Toki Poutangata are highly prestigious adze used ceremonially for first cuts on large community projects.
It measures 21.5 x 5 (excluding base).
