Very cute little wandering kiwi sculpture, carved from an exquisite dark Marsden jade, known as kawakawa pounamu sourced from the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.

This adorable piece has been hand made by John Mayo and Samuel Potter, using jade, bronze and a thinned out 10cent coin.

Hei manu are the contemporary representations of the native birds of Aotearoa. The choice of bird is dependent on the unique characteristics of the wearer.
