Roimata in the form of teardrops, are a Tohu (sign) of our emotions in times of joy, sadness, celebration and tribulation. They remind us of our humanity, our history, and our tipuna (ancestors) who support  us going forward.

Kokopu comes from the Arahura River on the West Coast between Greymouth and Hokitika. The spots on the stone resemble the patterns on the Kokopu (speckled trout) which is the Maori name for the New Zealand native trout.

Measures 9.5 x 2.5 cm.
