Benachrichtigen Sie mich, wenn dieses Produkt verfügbar ist:

Hei tiki represent the form of the first human. When worn, they provide a connection to the tūpuna (ancestors) that brought us into this world and guide us forward. Traditionally worn by Māori as ornaments of honour and status, they are a prestigious gift to be handed down as taonga through the generations.

This tiki was carved by Richard Anderson from kawakawa pounamu, inlaid with paua shell eyes. It measures 9.5 x 5 cm and has an adjustable hand-plaited black cord.

Richard Anderson is a tōhunga whakairo (mater carver) whose work is highly sought after and held in private and public collections worldwide.
