Rei puta are chiefly taonga traditionally carved from the teeth of Tohorā (whale). Rei niho, carved from pounamu, maintain the beauty of the traditional form, symbolising the intimate connection between Maori and Tohorā.

This beautiful Moa Bone Rei Niho is truly one of a kind as its the only Rei Niho to be carved from moa bone. It also features Whakapapa notches down each side of the pendant.

this pendant is hung by a black adjustable wax cord and measures 30 x 105 mm.
