This piece is carved from Kawakawa pounamu finished in a 9 kt gold setting. Kawakawa is a very popular stone for carving because of its abundance and ability to hold most shapes. It gets its name from the kawakawa leaf or Pepper tree.
This piece measures 31 x 8 mm and is hung from a 9k Gold-Plated Sterling Silver chain.
